Cashew Nut Cookies
Ingredients:A) flour 340 gm
corn flour 56 gm
baking powder 1/2 tsp
B) butter 255 gm
icing sugar 140 gm
C) vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
salt 1/2 tsp
egg yolk 2
egg white 1
- cashew nut 56 gm (ground - powder)
- cashew nut (for garnishing) optional
Method:
- Sieved ingredients (A).
- Blend ingredients (B) slightly, add in ingredients (C) and blend thoroughly.
- Add ingredients (A) and ground cashew nuts to ingredients (C) and blend into a smooth dough.
- Make the dough into small balls and press a piece of cashew nut in the center to garnish.
- Bake at 175 C for about 25 - 30 mins.
